Thaleka Manufacturing Services (Pty) Ltd, trading as Thaleka Manufacturers, is a 100% black-owned, operated and managed steel fabrications and engineering solutions company, based in Booysens Reserve, Johannesburg South, in South Africa. Thaleka specialises in the mechanical design, development, manufacture and supply of high-quality steel components, general steel fabrications, machining and precision engineering works.

We offer value-adding products and services that are widely used in the energy, rail, transportation, mining and construction sectors across the African continent. Thaleka has a reputation for delivering high-quality steel products and services, regarded by our customers as reliable and cost -effective. Our medium-tolong term goal is to play in the medium to heavy engineering space.

Thaleka Manufacturers is a private company that started, from humble beginnings, in 2002, primarily as the premier manufacturer of electrical transformer tanks, radiator tanks and panels for electrical mini-substations in the Gauteng region.

Thaleka re-established itself in 2008 and is fast becoming a major player in the mechanical engineering space. We are now specializing in mechanical designs, product development, manufacture and supply of small to medium-sized steel components.
Our medium-tolong term goal is to play in the medium to heavy engineering space. Thaleka Manufacturers is a specialist in mechanical design and development, steel metal fabrications (stainless steel and mild steel), profiling (cutting, bending, drilling, rolling), machining, welding, boiler making, final finishing (shot blasting, zinc spray), engineering consulting and project management services.

We a 100% black-owned, managed and operated engineering business based in Booysens Reserve, Johannesburg South. We are an ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certified company.

Also, we have a well-equipped workshop facility and a highly skilled and experienced technical team capable of executing jobs from small to larger orders/contracts.

History


Thaleka Manufacturers was established in 2002, with the primary objective of becoming the premier manufacturer of electrical transformer tanks, radiator tanks and panels for electrical mini-substations in the Gauteng region. In the past 11 years, Thaleka has emerged as a major player in the engineering sector, specialising in the mechanical design, development, manufacture and supply of small-tomedium- sized steel components.

Our growing reputation as a leading mechanical engineering solutions company has led to our doing business far beyond the borders of South Africa and we now service customers as far afield as Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
